Hey Everyone, I live in the Phoenix area and just recently got back into a cruiser, 92 stock FJ80, after having sold my 88 FJ62 about 6 years ago. Don't have any money for mods right now but would like to get to know you folks because you can never know enough good people!

I'm crediting Medtro for sending me this link when I asked about his Copper State Cruisers logo on an IH8MUD thread, thanks again Medtro.

I work by the Chompies on University, so I am close to the Sonic over on Broadway and would love to make next month's meet up. Will there be one on 2/16?

New FJ40 Owner

Hello: May name is Ray and live in Queen Creek. Just became the proud owner of not one but two FJ40s. (Long story about why TWO) Have owned other Cruisers but never a FJ40. My 1971 is a near perfect basicly stock truck with lots of after market stuff. Very nice. The 1972 is a basicly stock truck, in fair condition and for sale. Looking forward to hitting the trails with some other Cruiser owners soon. My goal is to someday take on the Devels Highway.
Newbie in Queen Creek

Welcome

I'll might work on a pic, but there's a good chance the first you'll see it will be 2/16. It's Pearl Red with the '93 & up 16x8 alloys and no running boards (real happy about that)!

New Pig owner here, just bought my brother's 1972 FJ55. My Name is Spencer and I am a student attending ASU. Live here in Mesa and I am the last of 4 brothers to convert to the Landcruiser ways. Love the outdoors and I am excited to take this Cruiser all over the state.

Hi!

My name is Dale and I live in Glendale. I have owned my FJ40 since 1997, however, have not been involved in any LC clubs yet. I am interested in getting together with other LC enthusiasts and discuss upgrades and maintenace of our toys. I have done many modifications to my rig and would be have to assist others wanting to do similar modifications. I have a 71 FJ40. The previous own did a 350 conversion. I would like to get another FJ40 or 55 and try to keep as stock as possible. My current FJ has a 4" lift, warn winch, dual tanks, full cage, and a 4 wheel disc brake conversion. I am current running 33s. I look forward to participating in future club activities.

Another newbie here.
I have had a '97 FZJ-80 for about 3 months now and have been an "off-roader" for about 9 years. This is the first toyota I have ever owned and so far "I'm lovin it." I have taken it out in stock form a few times now and I am very impressed.

I know MaddBaggins through business dealings and he told me about this site. Hope to get to know other people with cruisers that I see around town.

Yeah, I have to live down knowing Alvin too. The good thing is hanging out with him counts as "charity work" so I can work off all that community service hours I owe. :grinpimp:

By the way, welcome.

Pics?

I tried to post picture, but when trying to upload, the system said the picture files were too large. I will fiddle with them and see if I can change them to a lower resolution. If that works out I will post. Thanks

Pics as requested

I am running a soft top on it now...This is my summer attire.

I work over by ASU, near Chompies. I spotted a white pig with black feet parked on that side road where they are ripping down the old fire station next to Del Taco, was that you? I think you had a personal AZ tag.

That was me, I park on that side road then walk over the campus. Gives me a little exercise :)

It is a beast....Here is the Description, it may sound familiar, Bought it from my brother (gave me a smoking deal) Jared (sjpitts) who has owned it for 11 years. Plus it comes with alot of parts my brother purchased to put in it himself.

It is 1972 FJ55 with a crate engine, Chevy 350. It has a GM Turbo 350 Automatic Tranny, NP203 Transfer Case converted to part time. It has FJ60 axles in front and rear. Custom shackle reversal for the front springs. Custom Power steering. U bolt flit kit on rear axle. Powertrax no slip locker in the rear axle and 33 X 12.50 MTR's

My coming projects are...
Currently I am putted in some new sound deadener padding and carpet on the interior. Then I have an Aluminum Ron Davis Racing Radatior and Ironman Springs to put in. I also want to put on a rear bumper with spare tire holder. But this stuff takes money, and money I don't got alot of so it will take awhile for me to do this

Will post pictures when I figure out how to.

I also took out the bench seat and replaced it with two Chevy Silverado Bucket seats.

Welcome :flipoff2:
