well if the oil out of my engine is anything to go by i dont think the knocking sound is internal, only a few little bits and piecesout of the filter which im guessing is normal from a new engine, was told by our service manager that when i drain the oil if there is a bearing or rod problem it will look like someone poured glitter in my oil.

anyone here successfully fitted 200 series rocker panels/door sills to there lx?

Yes. Someone reported doing just that last week. Not sure the thread, but yes.
This is also what one does in order to fit Slee Off-road's new LX570 rock sliders.

slee told me if i have ahc there sliders will not fit

That can't be right, because Slee's own shop LX has AHC...and their new LX sliders.

Perhaps you are referring to the sliders they've had for a number of year for the 200?
If so...I am not referring to those. Slee recently made sliders specifically for the AHC LX 570. Only been selling them a couple months I believe.

I have personally seen them on his LX, but I have also driven his LX myself. It definitely has AHC and his new sliders...by adding LC panels. If you look very closely at his panels, the grey is slightly different due to slightly different silver paint between LX and LC.

they are not listed on there web site, i couldnt see them

Correct. It is not on their web site yet. But neither is their new rear bumper for the 200 and LX...and believe me...they exist, proven by the fact their new bumper is on my 200. :hillbilly:

Call @sleeoffroad by telephone and they will be able to help you.

Here is the new bumper on my rig... (even though it's not listed on their web site)

Did you have the snorkel when you crossed the deep river? If not, would that have saved your engine?

going to have some metal plates made up that will move the point back and utilize all 3 bolt holes as although i know certain bars didnt require the 3rd bolt , they just dont feel right

Get rid of the running boards, you won't miss them. They are low hanging plastic POSs. All you need is an extension, six bolts each and a few screws. The clips just pop out, you can then seal the mounting holes behind the doors.
The rear mudflaps are too low and wide as well, I trimmed them flush. Bumper mods incoming.

For a 0 dollar modification you can do in the meantime, I recommend it. After I removed them I feel it is a week 1 mod for sure.
