Hello,
I'm a newbie here, but have been on other sites for quite a few years. I am working on getting my truck back on the road right now so I can get back to wheeling, but work isn't cooperating very well. A lot of hours doesn't help when you're salary, but it sure takes away from the time needed to work on vehicles.

I have an 85 4Runner that is in the middle of a rebuild. I just went from V6 3rds with stock gearing to HP 3rds with 4.88s. Still running full Detroit rear and ARB front. I run 6" suspension and 3" body lift in order to fit the drive train. It has a Buick GN with a custom built 700R4, and currently runs a V6 case. As soon as the funds permit that is changing to a 23 spline Marlin 4.7 unit. It has been a fun vehicle with plenty of room for the family.

This pic shows the old lift with 33s. I'm running 35 MTRs on different rims now.

Looking forward to spending more time here.

Thanks. It's actually off an 89 Pickup that a friend owned, but it doesn't look anywhere near as nice now. It will be removed very shortly if I can ever get around to having a winch bumper made. One of the reasons I joined here again was to see if I could find a trade for one of my winches. I have a TX2 12k pounder that is just too big for the Runner. I hear that they are popular with the 80 series crowd, so was recommended to sign back up here. I signed up here years ago, but never got around to posting. After taking the time to look the site over the past couple of days I think I'll frequent more often now.

Put up an ad for the winch in the for sale section, and see what happens, a 12k is definitely overkill on a 4Runner..... :D Yes, Mud is a good site, especially if you like mini's and Cruisers....
