I recently purchased a 1979 FJ40 and have been working on getting it ready to hit the road. One of the last things I need is a windshield wiper motor. Wondering if there is a current model sold today that I could sort-of rig to work for now until I am able to order the correct part. Anyone ever just rigged something up to work good enough for the time being?

There are some motors available. There are some Volvo motors that I’ve seen in threads here. You should be able to google wiper motor for FJ40 ih8mud. That should get you a few threads where guys have made U-Pull-It pay trips or ordered replacements at a parts store.
