Should have posted this intro first, but I'm so desperate to sort out the alternator problem!
Bought this a couple of weeks ago to assist with a building project my partner and I are taking on. It's done just over 113K miles with the old UK MOT's showing a steady 5k per annum for most years. Obviously been looked after as the interior is in extremely good nick for a 27 year old truck. Body pretty good only a bit of rust here and there and only a few dents. Cills (rocker panels) are solid. Paint generally good, some rubbing through to the primer. Chassis looks very solid with only one patch of welding I can find. The right hand hanger which connects the rear tub wings to the chassis has pretty well rotted through, but is a bolt on job - can't find any replacements online, but may be calling it the wrong thing.
I'm sure I'll have plenty more technical questions over the next few years.
