Intolerable 200 Series Review

I haven't watched this yet (at work), but curious how the tundra does on the same test with highway all season tires. I'd be surprised if the Tundra could do the deed with as little drama.

They did it a long time ago with a TRD and it didn't make it past the poles.

Maybe someone HERE should just do a full review of the LC. I would consider it, but my truck is so built that it wouldn’t really be much on an “LC review.” More like a build inspection.

What I do think might find a real audience is if an experienced mechanic did a “hardware” review and comparison that focused on the BUILD toughness of the stock 200.

Hey @Taco2Cruiser ...maybe when things settle down, you might be in position for something like that...especially now that your folks recently bought a new LC! :hillbilly:

Would be enlightening to many if compared to a 4Runner or Sequoia from underneath...from a strength point of view.

Oooo, I like the idea. Gonna need some help though...

I think it might actually be UNIQUE, too. I know I've never found/seen one, which is pretty interesting, because if there is anything truly worth understanding and appreciating...it's that aspect.

I know it’s been beaten to death on here. But my LX really confuses people. I’ve had this conversation at least 5 times while off roading

Some random guy in a truck or Jeep starts out -Is that a Lexus?
Me -yes
-sequoia version?
-no
Highlander?
-no, it’s a land cruiser
-oh I hear they are junk and break down all the time
-you are thinking Range Rover, they are British this is a Toyota....

The 2nd most common response about it, usually when I’m loading up at Costco. And really no joke...
-hey we have a GX too. How much did it cost to get your rear hatch doors changed out like that, is it custom?

Well there is a reason poor people drive GX. Their intellect is in line with their buying power.

Are you too good for kirkland butt wipes and a lesser Lexus?

Come on now. GX are nice. If I didn’t have a >7000 lb camper I would have a GX instead of my LX.
Of course LC Prado are nice. No doubt. I never commended on the GX. I was speaking to their owner..given the statement YOU said people made to YOU

And anyone who asks you who does the door mod, and calls your car a GX is insulting you.

Double wow.

So...
Buying power = a person’s value & intelligence...
And... GX is for poor, dumb folk?
Hmm. OK.

But if u be sooo wealthy & u be sooo brainy...
