2000 LC100
For almost a year I've been having an occasional crank/no start problem (weekly/monthly) etc, leaving me stranded at times including today. It usually resolves itself with some time or jiggling with the efi fuse/relay. Below is a list of current issues and troubleshooting.
1. Whenever it has the crank/no start issue, the engine light and A/T oil temp do not illuminate when key is "on", but security light by radio stays on.
2. Today, I removed the relay and put a wire in as shown in pic to test. When I do that, I can hear a pump, and the Engine light/AT oil temp light both light up, and the security light goes off as normal. But it is still not cranking. Usually as soon as those lights show back up it starts right up.
3. Have I put the wire in correctly to test, or are all slots supposed to be filled (I'm a novice at anything electrical).
4. Is there anything else I can check to test?
5. Is it possible it just flooded or something while trying to get it cranked? One reset method included pressing the gas and cranking, so I did do that.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I've been trying to figure this out for a year and have had no luck as the issue seems to be getting worse.
