I am stranded in Denver with my mini motor home that is on an 86 toyota pickup chassy. When trying to replace my ECT sensor that corresponds to the dash gauge, I tightened too much and sheered off the piece of the intake manifold that the sensor threads into. I talked to the local toyota shop, which wont work on it because it is technically not a toyota, and they said I need to replace the entire intake manifold or possibly get it welded back on. This is way out of my league, I cant even properly replace and easy temp sensor. Looking for some advice and info for example how many labor hours it should take to replace the intake manifold, if it could just be welded, etc. Also if there are any good connections here in Denver please let me know. Thanks for your time.

SLEE is the cruiser place to go, they might could help you out. Don't know many others out that way. Gonna have to help me remember, but is that sensor in the upper or lower intake? I may have a spare on I could send you if you need it.

Sounds like he is talking about the temp sender for the gauge, which I think is the one threaded into the upper intake. Nice gesture jynx to send him your spare. The Toyota community is great. Hopefully ddev can throw up a picture.
