That looks like a remflex gasket and doesn’t look near tight enough for one thing.
Do you have the lower bolts in? They should be drawing that side of the header in that’s gapped away from the gasket. Your flange thicknesses don’t look that different to me. A little off, yes, but not near what I usually see with headers and stock intake. Check for the lower bolts and tighten them all up more. The gasket should at least be squishing out a little. And they can take a lot more squish than remflex recommends.

Intake leaks can make it run lean, which can make it run fast and hot. When things heat they move this can cause or cure leaks.
