Instrument - gauge wiring (1 Viewer)

Lil help please.
This is the back of my instrument cluster.
72 FJ40
The temperature, fuel, and oil pressure all have a solid yellow wire.
Are those wires hot?
Also, what are the black and white wires just above the speedometer hook up?

Yes Byron, that was a big help, thanks.
The yellow wires get hot with the ignition on. However, I’m still curious about the white and black wires just north of the speedometer…

Those white and black wires go to a little sensor inside the speedometer. I have heard rumor it's something to do with smog but I am not sure.
