If the parts only cost 69$ for a keyless entry system, immobilzer, and alarm, then yes $230 for labour. This isn't the KMS one, just whatever brand they sell, I didnt get that specific, was just curious.

Do it yourself. I paid 50 or 60 for my autoloc one and it was easy as pie to install. All in the drivers door panel and side kick panel. You have lots of good help on here. Just get at it.

Wish I lived down in lower mainland... I could keep in beer every weekend doing this odd stuff... I like weird electrical s***

Oh 50-60 or so is for the autolock on it's own. With an alarm it will be more. But the basic comes with wires to set up the immobilzer. You just need a small relay or two. Possibly 20 bucks more.

I paid 180 for my 4 door solenoid kit with alarm for my BJ60. It had lots of more parts involved than you need. Look at this site;
