is there any risk to get any leaks on these racks if replacing the inner rods? Mine is not leaking at all but I'm worried ...sometimes if it ain't broke don't fix it.

If the inners are worn out (in/out play) you’ll have loose steering and it won’t be aligned, so it’s already broken. If you don’t have that play, I’d leave it alone. Changing these should not cause a rack to leak.
