Battling with intermittent availability of my system. Will work fine for a couple of days and then I loose it for a week or so.
Only climate and some “Info” button functions will work when it’s down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think these are pretty hard to troubleshoot. I had a similar problem in my 2004 Lexus LS430, which has a very similar integrated HVAC Paleolithic Navigation system, and it gave a similar error. I think my error was "check connection" or something equally unhelpful.
I bought a used display / touchscreen unit on Ebay and it fixed the issue.

I appreciate the input. Hopefully someone can chime in with more info on this.
Thanks

There is a diagnostic mode you can enter on the nav. I can't remember exactly but it's something along the lines of turning the ignition to ACC, then pressing and holding the INFO button on the side of the screen, and while doing that turning on and off the headlights 3 times.

I had (and technically still do have) a weird failure on my '04 where the navigation and backup camera crapped out at the same time. I think my issue is corroded wires from a previous owner doing a bad windshield install, but I did learn a lot about which modules do what.

That could be a bad connection to the NAV module that sits under the passenger seat. Maybe try seeing if the connections are loose under there. I think there are 3 of them.

Might also look into the PIN60 problem. Seems to impact some years more than others.
