I am trying to get more legroom in my 1980 FJ40. Someone had mentioned drilling out the stops on the rails and thru bolting the rails at an extended position to gain about 2.5 inches. I have removed the drivers seat and the seat rails from the frame but I am not sure about what the "stops" are. I think I know but before drilling them out I would like verification. Thank you in advance for any advice.
Additionally, I'd like to know if there is a smaller diameter steering wheel compatible with the existing steering column.
