All the years I had my old 42, it never had one.

I will forgo it this weekend see how it works..even bypass the water seperator...

I'm sporting an aftermarket water separator (Lordco) that the PO installed and it seems to work fine. Are you wanting to keep it stock?

As i recall, the stock one was kindof a piece of s*** anyways. I've never been enough of a purist to want to keep using one.

I used to have a cat water separator (still do) but a racor kinda does it all.
