Had dropped my 80 off to a buddy to do my axles and its been made clear my passenger birf is wasted. Before ordering from Man-a-fre was going tos ee if anyone could possibly come up with 2 birfs on the fly as itll take some time to get the parts in. preferably not pull outs.

Figured you guys would be worth a shot!

Man-a-fre is back ordered for months apparently. Carquest is telling me no dice, and the ones from toyota are another 145 bucks or so...gaaah

looks like carquest can make it happen :still dont believe the guy: but we shall see

thanks for the heads up. ive contacted arcteryx. Keeping my fingers crossed. bacons has a axle they say is the year i need but i have a tendency not to believe them and they cant break it down anyway till monday.

Forget about the birfs tell me more about the lsx powered sc300. If I were you I'd go ahead and get some longfields and be done for a while.

I had hoped to have the SC running by now so thats why im in a bit of a bind with summer vacations coming up and needing to travel to cover some events(photography) grr

I feel like the little reading ive done on longfields is that for daily driving use they are a poor choice. Brian at ACC was trying to sell me on doing the 2wd lockout setup as thats what he runs with longfields.

As for the SC, its been NA-T, had a 1j but sold it before i got a deal on this low mileage LS out of an 01 camaro.
Just finishing up headers and cleaning up some of the fab work from the mounts to the removal of a crossmember to make room for the t-56...Focus now is really cooling, getting ac working, and then wiring.

Tractionoptional.com midsouth drift crew will have 5 LSx swapped cars by this fall it looks like between a 95 m3 lsx turbo, and a gang of lsx nissan 240s as well as one RX7 if he gets moving on his project ever...

Do you do this stuff yourself, or are you farming it out? And where does the work go down? That is really cool!!!

All of the 80 birfs have been used up by Eric Hagan!

swap them on sides and run with it..... you just driving down the road right?
Hell... I rode on a broken one for 2 days until I destroyed it wheeling HARD at GSMTR.... And I know that worn out birfs can last on the road. So just swap them sides (driver on passenger)
Brian at ACC was right BTW, run 2WD until they come in.
You're making a header! I know you can change birfs twice!

that is not a lie! No one has anymore to sell... they're down to their last trail spare...

And $145 for a new OEM is a lie, that's a wongfield from china.
