There's someone around here with one of those Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUVs. I'm trying to get him to go out four-wheeling with it, but no luck so far.
(Gotta say, that thing is THE coolest purple color.)

100%! My first ride was a Suzuki SJ410. That rig would go anywhere and it had solid axles to boot. 65mph max speed sucked though with the 4 speed but kept me out of speeding tickets. Pulled out a few Toyota mini trucks with it. Wish I still had it now.

My 87 was the best death trap I've ever owned. Rolled it and drove it home.

I love H&K, but i have to disagree with your statement above.

I have to agree, before my sudden ill health I went out alone and with groups all with Land Cruisers, some old and some new, two of the group had 80,s that were kitted out with big wheels and lifted suspension. My only damage over the years was one sacrificial front corner bumper climbing out of a ditch, and I tore off a rear mud flap.

Given my 80 is stock and is always loaded to MGW, my only conclusion can be that the drivers of the 80's were either, young, inexperienced, crazy, or just plain tossers?

Regards

Dave
