That's good, mine is the "anti Shotts" white edition. :D

Still no pictures? What, did Becky steal the camera John? :ban:

Careful Kevin! I plan on painting mine. I know what your truck looks like! :D

Here's a quick pic. The first is the LX. The second shows the most capable rig o the left and a so-so one on the right....FOR NOW! :D

(Actually....the most capable one is in the back of the pic. :D )

you nailed it :D

Sorry to Doug and "Lil' Doug - I could not help myself

Can't we just call him Gilligan and be done with it?

You know what's going to happen...Lil' Doug will turn into Doug's Lil' buddy...Lil' buddy will turn into Gilligan. Let's just skip all the stuff in the middle...John Shotts = Gilligan.

Although...he's not quite as loveable as Gilligan was...

OK, Gilligan has a plan for the Lexus. It's been revised since visiting Toyota yesterday for all fluid changes and a checkover. It was given a super bill of health and therefore we're gonna trick it out some rather than cutting frames and being more aggressive. Toyota did mention one thing I'd like your opinion(s) on:

***They said the rear engine seal that connects to the tranny is "sweating" a little. They said it's no biggie whatsoever though if the seal goes the repair is expensive because the tranny has to be dropped. Any concerns about this?

OK, decided mods:

Lift (I want this to fit into the garage):

J-springs F&R (front with 15mm packers)
L-shocks
OME steering stabilizer
Slee caster correction

Drivetrain:

ARB lockers
4.88 gear set

Tires:

BFG 315x75-16 AT KO
(We're opting for quietness because this thing rides so nicely)

Bumpers:

Front...undecided
Either ARB Bull Bar, Slee, or custom (no winch will be installed)

Rear...Hanna with side protection, tire carrier, and cooler/jerry can holder
(Sorry Christo...I would like something different and I like the optional cooler holder and side protection.)

Slee Rock Sliders

Any comments Skipper? Ginger? Professor (Slee)?
Gotta run...Marianne's pie is baked for me. Hot and ready. :D

Gilligan....I still say 6" will fit fine...but whatever, also J's with spacers are the same as the slee 4" and I believe the spring rates on the 4" are nicer. Also I don't think MTR's are much different noise wise than the AT's and they look and perform better off road.....Also I love my step sliders from slee, got them for the wife but now I love them and am very glad I didn't get the standard sliders.

I don't get it. Why are you building this thing as a duplicate of your 100 series?

For the more extreme trails. In your words...Behind the Rocks and Pritchett. Trails I'll not take the 100 on.
