I don't usually post a bunch but I have a question for the IH Scout folks here.
Would anyone else (besides me), be interested in a complete new body for their Scout?
Mine was a farm truck in central Utah for 40 years and has so much rust that most folks would scrap it but is has sentimental meaning for me.
I have found a few body panels but not nearly as much as is needed to bring her back to 100%.
While surfing I came upon Larry Chen, a world renowned automotive photographer who was doing this shoot for Hagerty. (

Before you all tar and feather me, my Scout is too far gone to ever restore. I am planning to do this as a RestoMod only. I don't want to loose it and the only way it could be redone will cost well into six figure territory which I will never be able to afford.
What I am asking here is, would any of the other Scout folks here be interested in getting body panels or an entire body made?
They of course already have complete '70s Broncos, Mustangs, Land Rovers and the early Toyota FJ 40s along with other hard to find parts. They offer body panels as well as fully welded complete bodies. (Classic Car Body Parts/ Accessories Manufacturers, Factory)
They run in the neighborhood of $15K to $30K and I've reached out to them and they say that if there is enough interest in the IH Scout they would consider replicating the body.
It's about time we (Scout folks) get some love too!
