Howdy! I am tuning up the rig for smog, and I can't remember exactly what the factory marks were. This is a 1977 engine with the original timing chain cover. The little plate by the crank pulley has several notches in it, but I can't read the numbers anymore. Looking in from over the radiator, going right to left, first there is a long straight section, then a BIG notch, maybe 1/4 inch, then 3 little teeth sticking up about 1/8" apart. I think the big notch is "0" degrees, top dead center, but I don't remember go: 2, 4, 6, or 4, 8, 12 degrees, or whatever. Anybody remember how the scale reads?? John
