Idlling issues

hey all
ive been having an idling issue with my fj60, after some diagnostics I quickly discovered the reason of the issue being that the adjustable rod on the throttle linkage was too short. after trying to adjust it, it cant be adjusted long enough to hold a reasonable idle. what are some options to either build a new one or buy something else?

Part 78105 in this diagram is probably on backwards. Long tab needs to be at the carb and the shorter tab by the firewall. Look here for more info.
