this is in a 40 but I will be using the exact same setup in my 60. Plenty of room
 
your existing carb will need some of the vac ports "plugged" i used caps from autozone, the dizzy will need to be recurved and a new vac valve put on (i might get this backward, but the smogged us version has two vac ports on the dizzy thry are for advance, the non-us version had retard vac port) i can send you some non-us parts micro (you can look through them and be able to tell what stays and what goes) pm me your email
 
jimc or fj40jim recurves the dizzys. i will take a stab, but this is a loose description of recurve.

there are "weights" that spin in the dizzy, these "weights" are calibrated to the options (ac, smog, etc...) that are added to the engine. if you take this stuff off, the "weights" will be off. these "weights" are somehow linked to the advance/retard vac function of the dizzy. if the advance/retard vac and "weights" are out of sync the spark will be sparking at the wrong time.
