I don't Jonathan is going to put his reputation and ICON business at risk for whatever he made consigning this 76. I've known about this truck for over 10 years. It's story is well documented. If it's a fake, it's an impossibly damn good one. So good that it fools the paint meter. Is it 100% forensic original? Nope, it's been around for a 40 years and obviously it's had some things messed with but I'm sure the mileage is spot on. The hardware on the rear doors is not original. The top has been off. The toolkit does not appear to be circa 78, etc. 100K is considerable for any Land Cruiser and clearly above most budgets but even IF it was a restoration (and it's not), you couldn't touch it for $20K. It would be more like $50K.
