interesting - wonder if that's true or not - please update on us once you have some post install seat time and an opinion.

The ABS sensor cable is very thin and easy to break. I did the same thing when I upgraded shocks on my old 4Runner. I just soldered in a new similarly gauge wire and it was good to go. Much cheaper than purchasing the replacement cable from Toyota...
I contemplated repairing it, but ended up buying it for $115 and replacing it myself. Quite a price for the lesson but overall the savings on my brother and I installing the suspension was worth it.

I will for sure! My ride is feeling quite harsh lately and I'm wondering if my stock shocks are due for replacement now. 175k miles currently and when I bought it with 110k miles, my guess was shocks had been replaced previously as it had a very smooth ride. My back hurts from all the bumpiness but my tire pressure starts at 38 but warms up to 42psi.

I installed Icon Stage 3/4 equivalent. Its way better than stock but I still wish for more. My issue is I wanted stock ride height so there isn't much that can be super improved. I did notice that rear shocks made a world of a difference on the vehicle. The fronts not as much as I was expecting. Icons ride a bit rough at low speeds but awesome at highway speeds. Was cruising 90mph through some difficult terrain last night, faster I went the better it felt.
