I put some new Tires on the 200!

For those running the 175/70-18 KO2's....does that size on a factory wheel fit underneath in the spare tire cavity? My 100 could not fit any larger than the factory size under there.

Really? My 100 easily fit larger BFG ATs in the spare location.

I currently have Michelin 285/60/18 Latitude Tour HP's. I am about to switch to BGF KO2's in the 275/70/18 variety with spacers.
How do these compare to the latitudes regarding noise? I'm having a hard time believing ko2s are quieter that the ltx a/t2 but they rank quieter on tire rack.

I'll assume you meant the 275's ;-) but I can tell you that my 285/65/18 KO2 fit with room to spare. Others have posted that the 275/70/18s, about 0.6" larger in diameter will also fit, but I'll defer to those with that tire.

Quiet as the Latitudes? Heck no. But noisy? Not hardly.

Now that I've had them for almost a week I've done a good bit of both highway and mountain road driving. With all windows rolled up, I cannot detect any noise difference when compared to the Latitudes, even with the sunroof open. I think the LC's soundproofing is a big factor here.

With the windows down, I can hear them rolling but the sound is minimal. Not loud at all. And certainly nowhere near as loud as they appear they would be.

I had the old style BFG All Terrains on an 80 of mine years ago. I didn't even wait for them to wear out before replacing, due to their noise.

So far I've been impressed with the KO2's.

How are these Ko2's at 90mph? I never drive this SUV above 90mph but will keep this speed on a few long stretches to Arizona.

I drive in the 90 mph range often and haven't given tire noise (or lack there of) at high speeds a thought.

Ok, I don't know what the speed rating is but just wanted to make sure it was safe for the tires and "my family" to travel at 90mph for 100miles with worrying about blowout.
