I kinda ran into an issue as I almost killed the construction workers next door as they almost fell off their ladders when they heard this LOL

For those of you who don't know I'm an avid (well used to be) train guy hence this is why I have this and no, its not going on my 81:flipoff2:

Wuss. Give it to me for my 81. These would be really great for traffic.

Yeah its all 5 at once. I blew it a few times and it was sitting around 100psi.

I started at 115ish with a 1/2 line.

Foreal.... send me a PM if you want 3 chime lol

I can show you a demo at the next meeting. Steve if you want the meetings to start at 8 I can have a warning call go off... LOL

Cool. I got a little 24V Hella double trumpet air horn that I have yet to install. The Japanese have no concept of using the appropriate horn for the vehicle. I think those babies would be just a touch on the overkill for a Cruiser... but not much! :hillbilly:

There's no such thing as overkill when it comes to the horn. That's like saying "my truck has too much power". No, you just need to know how to use it ;)

Horns are fun! I was captain on a big Hatteras with a set of triple Khallenberg horns (quite a bit bigger than your K5s) using an engine driven compressor. After spending several tough hours washing the boat with the deck hand, we were rolling down False Creek and as we passed under the Granville Br. my buddy called me from the SandBar restaurant- seems he was trying to pull some chicks and wanted me to lay on the horns... Normally you don't do this as the horns are a signalling device used to inform other traffic of your intentions... But I thought ' what the heck' and gave him a long blast. Every cormorant nesting under the Granville Br. crapped in unison all over the freshly polished boat. Lesson learned.

ya i have an alarm horn you can play with it like a whistle at a babe or a cop pulling the other guy over, works great for that ,and just a cheap 12 volt.and jason, yes you can have to much power . just saying.

Ha, sweet!! I'd buy a Yaris just to put those under the hood somehow...but then again, they might blow out the head lights...

You put a video on youtube yet? Curious to hear them at full power.

I have some cheap Ebay "train horns" on my 80 and they are loud. Best upgrade I have done as far as pure enjoyment. Its also great for scaring off thieves when hooked up the alarm (tested). Nothing is better than sitting behind that person with a advanced turn arrow when they are talking on there cell and not moving.....usual outcome in a flying cell and chirping tires.

If you ever want the get rid of those horns I got room and the air for them. :D

Yep in my case it still cost me a door and handle but the assholes did not get anything inside. Scared them so good I found a smouldering cig on the ground 30sec later when I ran out. It also woke up all my neighbours

Bahahhahh,

That's great.

There is a youtube link there..... I have not done anything other than a test as its pretty much static right now until I can make it mobile.

FWIW here is a runby of it from the guy I bought it from.
