I see some cables going through the spokes of your spare tire. Is this a security cable?
Could you show some pics of how you keep your spare from getting stolen.

BTW, great work- both design and fab, I'm a big fan of reducing complexity, as long as it doesn't affect reliability.

Yes that is a lock cable on the wheel I welded a piece of square tubing on the inside to loop the cable through it....
It hasn't been stolen...................yet !!!

It has been very reliable and works like a charm...
