I have a pair on my rig and am pretty happy with them, I did get one replaced by Checker Auto because after I washed it I noticed that one of them had fogging on the inside of the lense. Hope they last, and it sucks to hear that you cant replace the bulbs.
I need to run the wiring through my high beam switch and relay so I can kill all that blinding light quicker, I just got my FSM back but if anyone has the location and color code for the high beam ground wire in front of them I'd appreciate it.
I am WAY impressed with the amount of light from only two, my little bro is looking at a set of lightforce units, anyone have opinions of them? they can be upgraded to HID for a couple hundy, just wondering if that is worth it.
he ordered a set of these HID's from schucks yesterday based on this thread that I linked him to, can he be an honorary MUD guy if he's driving a Tundra?
I just picked up a set ofthe HID 7" Schuks for $89 each. What I need to know is how much space is on the front bumber to to mount them lights . The lights are deep in back.
So I need to know will it fit on a stock bumper and not hit the grill .
If it will hit i need to make somthing here to bring with me to get them on.
Im taking them to Cambodia so its easer to make some brackets here and have them ready to mount up.
Any one have some ideas??
Any one have one on hand and there 80 with them to see the fit?
do you have them all wired together? Or separated top and bottom switches?
Curious to see a pic of just the 2 bumper-mounted lights would look like. ( I would guess most would only be running 2 lights on their setup, I intend to)
I tryed the 4" at the store and i did not like the light pattern. Both at 35W the 7" looked much brighter, I think the 4" may have been more pencle beam .
Also I would test eash one at the store one of the 4" I tested did not work .
I have the 7" ers, did not test the 4" so have nothing there for you.
yes; no, they will not fit on a stock bumper unless you remove the grill or add some kind of stand off, I'll get a close up of what I did in a bit, PM me and I'll send you as many as you want.
Are these made by one of the major off road light manufacturers and then just sold under a different name? I too am concerned about the longevity of these lights.
They are made by a leading light mfg in china. From what I see they look good . This is there sponsored Toyota.
They also make coffee makers and Reusable Hemorrhoids Staplers

Can replace the bulbs Bulb Type:H3 35W 6000K Try tighen the screws to clamp the gasket tighter also they have the drain hole in the bottom so if water is sprayed at the bottom hard it can get in but should drain back out.
