I have about had it, surely jsut a streak of bad lucK?

My RTE will prolly come out of the demon possessed 4Runner (AT BTW ) it's in FOR THE 4TH TIME!! (got to drive it though, long enough to get a seat belt ticket on the next street over) Engine removals are so much fun on toyota AT's.

I got to drive my 20/22r Hybrid that I spent so much time and effort on, oh, about 50 miles. But not before I manged to remove the motor twice to try and repair it, as well as remove the pan and cover to try and fix it...twice. Now, cause I broke off a sliver of block so it won't seal oil, I took it out. Only, now, since I can't find a tall block, I've replaced it with what appears to be a big lemon of a short block 22R. Only I can't hear it run cause somebody bent the clutch cover/ backing plate and I just stripped out the lower bolt that holds the starter so I don't know if I'll ever hear it run....I'm betting on the sweat sound of a crusher though....x2!

Got a great RTE cab that was gonna go on my 84 Hilux, only, I don't know if I want it to get the opportunity to s*** on me, like the rest of my junk so I might just junk it to save me the hassle....

the best way to check the engine mounts is have a buddy watch the engine to see if its trying to jump out while you double pedal the brake and gas, while in 1st gear rockin the clutch. and so it again in reverse.
