pretty sure the TPS is related to the timing...

Not sure bout the udders...

As hard as it is, I'd say sure, gopherit!

It would be a good idea, because the computer takes its readings from all those sensors, and adjusts the timing I believe? It's not mechanical or vacuum advance, so I'm assuming it's electronic... Don't have my book near me now...

thanks guys!
i was going to any how, the thing is i am not sure if the o2 sensor was bad when i set the timing or not,but i got the code a couple weeks later, when i reset the computer, it took it about a month to come back, so i replaced it, so i figure i will check the timing, oh and set my idol, when i replaced the 02 sensor it dropped to about 400.

Crap, too late for me to chime in with my problem solving one word answer of..

"Purple!"

Any question, no matter how complicated it is, can be boiled down to the simplest of answers, no matter what, and the answer is always "Purple".

Try it for a week and see what I mean. Like for example, "What is the Color of your TLCA Memebr Number in your Signature line?"

Purple.

Which wire was it I needed to look for a stripe on?

Purple.

OK, now that I got this fixed there's a bruise on my arm.

Really, what color is it?

Purple!

Glad you got your answer. ;)

If you haven't checked the spark advance timing in, say, six months or so, you should check it anyway. Mine drifts off over time, and I'm learning that six months is a good interval to check it. If you've got the tach and timing light (and the paper clip to short the connectors) handy, it only takes about five minutes.
