i just dont want to car pool with the old lady or have to take the bus !

if i do sell it i will still be getting a 40 or pre 86 toy pic up or runner any leads under $3000 ?

Dude, if you don't want to carpool and you want to save money, keep the BJ. It is much more efficient than either of the other choices of gasers. You'll burn the 3500 dollar difference in about a year and a half and insurance will be equal.

I'm having difficulty following your thoughts. You don't want to carpool or take the bus but you aren't going to insure a vehicle, whether or not you keep your current ride.

If I were you, I'd step back from making any decision for a while until your thoughts settle.

Cheers.

You know, I reread your thread titles and I think you have answered your own questions already, you're just not accepting it.

" would i be crazy to swap my bj60 for an fj40 ?"

"i have a buyer but i dont want to sell"

So far I have owned 2 40s, 1 bj and 1 fj, and 3 bj60s. By a long shot I have enjoyed my 60s more. They are just more practical in 99.9% of situations I encounter. The 40 was great when my family included just me. Add a chick...aka my girlfriend turned wife... and my 40 instantly was too small. About the only time I miss my 40 is when my ass drags of a steep departure.

If someone is jumping on the price that quick it's too low. Bump up the price until those pesky calls stop. ;)
Keep the BJ, after awhile they start multiplying... right Kim. :D

You still wanna get rid of that turbo, Phil?

Kim, Kim, Kim... I believe you have turbomania, rumour has it that there might be a couple of 12H-T's kicking around... that could be your cure. :)

Far be it from me to criticize someone for not wanting to sell a Cruiser. Lord knows Ive bought many and sold few, but it is kinda poor form to have it advertised for sale and then refuse an offer at your asking price. It might be time to modify that sig line.

you're asking too many times what to do.....it's obvious you don't want to sell it. So explain the wife that your keeping it and be done with it.

Hope that helps.
