I got round cup holders for my 80

If you are printing these, I think Cura has a mirror image feature. Also, you can reverse your motor leads on one axis (and change the home switch to the other side). FWIW, A couple of ways to print a mirror image for a 3D printer.

the console setup is mirrored on the R/H drive... after having a closer look at your pics I see what you mean, the rebated holder would end up forward, and the aft holder would cover the switches. If you ever do some to suit I would be interested.

It's been a while since I commented on here. I was sorta in hiding. I got buried in orders the last 6 months and didn't want to do anything that would increase my work load. With 3 kids, a full time job, and now 3D printing; I was getting killed. I have had a pile of finished products on the shelf and not enough time to release them. I finally converted my entire garage, laundry room, and office into a 3D printing work shop. I hired an employee and am now running 12 machines full time with a few more on the way. I also recently released the 4runner cup holders which have been keeping me stupid busy. Anyways; the reason for the post was to update the situation. I WILL continue to make the 80 series cup holders but will be dialing back on production. Orders have FINALLY slowed down to the point I feel that most people who wanted one, got one. I usually restock about every 48 hours and keep about 1/2 dozen of every type in stock. I will be keeping about 1/2 that in stock and will be restocking my website about once every 8-10 days and not every other. If you still want one, then that is fine. You just may have to wait a tad longer. I may pick up production down the road when I get another employee or two, but for now, I just need to focus on the new stuff I released. THANK YOU soooo much for all the support and orders. You guys allowed me to turn my business into what it is now. I am getting close to being able to quit my teaching job and focus on this full time. That will finally allow me to get the hell out of California and back into the Rockies where I belong.

So... finally knocking out several items off the 'pm that needed done years ago' list, and realized yesterday the box containing the cup holders I'd ordered was sitting in the garage unopened. I had always planned to take some time to pull up part of the interior and install these things sturdily right, but pulling it out of the box made me realize the great design that it is, and that it sits on the lip of the center console and made a great fit.

Just kind of left it there in place, not having removed the paper from the double sided tape, and went to get lunch with a high school student I mentor, who promptly threw his 32oz full large Sosa right in the cup holder. And it stuck just fine. I then warned him it wasn't attached, and we took it off and closely looked at its construction.

All this to say, it's a great addition to my 80. The plan is tomorrow when I get off work to finish mounting with the tape and screws, and I'll add some pics of how it all comes out.

Got'em done this morning.

The ridge at the bottom that makes them fit perfect.

looks like you have the rare brown color and not the tan "Oak". I do have a brown that is a really close match to the factory brown. Let me know if you want the paint info or if you want to do an exchange.

Hah... I have no idea why those pics ended up being all sorts of different orientations...

And thanks, but the color difference doesn't bother me at all, and I think works out with the varying shades of tan and brown in the cab, seat cloth color, seat cover color, etc. As long as it doesn't drive the :princess: crazy, I'm good.

mmmm... Chick fil a
