I'm not sure what's normal for this engine, but this would be terrible for an isf. Try to do some full throttle pulls and if your engine is healthy, it should go up. You can also try upping your octane if you're not at high altitude.
Yeah I am a little surpised I didnt see.much change between crusiing and full throttle on the highway. Ill do some more testing.... Sometimes ive noticed a slight delay in the OBD Fusion registering new readings or maybe it's just the piss poor fuel in CA. I am at basically sea level.

I seem to sit around 12-14 but I’m only watching when towing atm so it’s more or less always under load

It should go up if you're putting load in the engine throughout the rev band and it's not detecting knock. The thing is that we don't know what's normal for this engine.

After doing some more testing i was able to see it increase to 17+ during full throttle acceleration to redline.

I just downloaded the app and took a spin around the block. Last 100gallons or so were 87 octane 😬

I ran 93 octane (91 max available in CO) for the LCDC road trip (3k miles) and here’s another screenshot of my ignition advance and knock numbers.
It looks like the only thing that changed is the advance and .66 degrees on the knock correction. @linuxgod, seem accurate?

When I came back from CO/UT I ran 91 octane the whole way. Granted I was towing, but my KCLV changed from somewhere in the 12-14 range to around 18-18.5 for the rest of the trip. It would occasionally dip down to 17.5-ish but then creep back up. Typically it was sitting around 18.1 to 18.3 though. I did notice my mileage was not quite as abysmal as normal when going through Nebraska (normally I get about 6.5MPG when towing at 70-75, but this time I got about 7.5MPG) and I didn't even get into a situation where the engine felt like it was bogging down and having trouble holding 4th (or 5th) gear... which did happen when running 87 on the way out

I haven't really watched the ignition advance values since they will jump around depending on throttle position.
