Hyper silver wheel Paint code help (1 Viewer)

I’m looking for the paint code of the hyper silver wheel on the 06-07 100 series?

Any help is appreciated

The best match i can find from before…researched a lot to be used for my turbo twist wheels…almost impossible to perfectly match…though it came out fine.

I do not think there is a paint code for Hypersilver. It's a special 3-stage paint. It's a black basecoat, a silver top layer, then clearcoat. It's extremely difficult to replicate the finish.

I looked for Hypersilver a few years ago when I had my Sequoia, I couldn’t find a factory match. It will probably be easier to find nice original wheels that don’t need a repaint.

Yes there is a paint code

Its D121 Made by RM Diamont a BASF product

Roughly $100+ for half a pint and it requires some skill to spray properly

4 stages:
-Base color (light - medium -black)
-Then Clearcoat - cure
-Spray hypersilver on 1mm tip and you lightly mist it on, (it's an ultra thin coating) like Gold or Silver leaf
-Re Clearcoat

Each coat of Hyper silver you add gives a different shade, so usually you have to do both wheels on one side of the car at the same time to get it right

You never see both sides of the car at the same time so no need to do all 4 at once
