I have a hydro assist setup on my truck right now with the stock ps-pump and have noticed a lag in the reaction time from turning the steering wheel as well as an increased amount of force being needed to turn the wheels when crawling and running at around 900 rpm.

Are there smaller pulleys that will pump more fluid at lower rpm? Do I need to find an aftermarket ps-pump that can is made to move more fluid than stock is?

Thanks in advance.

I seem to remember there is a mod you do to the stock pump to get much higher flow, something about drilling out the orifice on the flare fitting on the discharge of the pump where it attaches to the hose. Maybe search for that, probably over on Pirate or Marlin's site.
