HVAC control lighting

Hi all.

I have been having an issue where the illumination will go out in my HVAC controls.

Before today, I could move the Temp selector back and forth one or two times and the lighting woudl come back on. Now, it is just off.

Can the internal lighting be accessed? Any ideas?

I have the bottom dash tore down in preparation for installing a new radio so now is a good time to look into it.

If this is in your 92, it's a pain I think I remember.... But it is doable... Keep taking stuff off till you get into it....
