Bumping. How the heck did you free that wire up enough to get access?
It’s pretty tough. I pull with enough force to get a small piece and used a splice with needle nose to tap into it. Not a normally good route for wiring but necessary here.

Anyone confirm on this style of plug am I using the white with black strip or blue with yellow for power? There's two connectors up in that sunroof for different years, on the other style it's pointing to the black with the gray but I do not have that style

Is one of those wires ignition switched power? That would be ideal place to tap in for a dash cam.
So realizing the blue was is constant power leaving my mirror all the time so changing that up tomorrow. I'll confirm tomorrow what ign is... I found it but it's too dark to confirm and I'm done with the project for today. ha

So you don't want the middle connection. All of that is either sunroof related or constant hot. My blue and black wire was off to the left and up underneath a bunch of stuff. It was very hard to get to and couldn't get it disconnected so it was struggle bus to get it going. Unfortunately my thermostat is still reading at 100 plus degrees when it's 60 outside so wondering if I need to get a new one of those.
