Hi there,

I have a 1990 Hilux Surf. It just passed 100,000KMs this morning and the t-belt warning light came on. The belt was changed about 50,000KMs ago so I'm not worried about it right now. Does anyone know how to turn this off?

I saw a post somewhere else that said you have to take the dash out and switch a screw from one hole to another. It also said that you had to switch it back to the other hole next time the light comes on (another 100,000KMs). Anyone know of a easier way than that?

Thanks,

Wes

On my 81 series there is a reset button on the face of the instrument cluster, and small rubber plug in the plastic cover. I don't know if the surf is the same.
Just thought I would mention it incase they are.

Cheers,
Nick

Yup, that did it. Thanks Nick!
