There are some instructions on how to do this in this thread, but it was somewhat difficult to find, and there are some slight differences with the UZJ100, so I thought I'd create a separate thread in the hopes someone in the future can find this easier.
- Part Number: 5890760050
Problem image shown below: hinge breaks where the lid is connected, requiring a full hinge replacement.
1. As written in the linked instructions, unscrew the high low range knob and pry the center panel up from the cup holders. Disconnect the driver and passenger seat heater connectors (if applicable) and the PWR/2ND connector.
4. As written in the linked instructions, remove/pry the back of the console off.
5. Different from the linked instructions, disconnect the intra-console charger by disconnecting the white connector at the base of the rear of the console (image below):
6. As written in the linked instructions, remove the 4 bolts from the bottom of the inside of the console
7. You should now be able to completely remove the center console from the car.

- I didn't have much luck when searching for this part using the term "land cruiser" but there are a bunch on ebay with "LX 470". It is the same part.

- I was able to keep the car in Park while doing this; a little jimmying got it done.
2. As written in the linked instructions, removed the screws holding the center console in.- Loosening the rear bolts that hold the driver and passenger seats to the frame, and removing the front bolts allows you to tilt the seats up and back, making the front screw a lot easier to reach. Worth the time in my opinion.
3. Different from linked instructions, pop the rear cup holders out and unscrew the 2 (not 4) screws (image below):4. As written in the linked instructions, remove/pry the back of the console off.
