Hi!

I have 2000 Land Cruiser Prado 1KZ-TE diesel engine. It has two batteries. I want to know if they are connected in Series or Parallel.
Does both batteries start help cranking the truck. Also do LHS battery is for auxiliaries like dashboard stuff only

I want to connect 24V battery operated tools from my truck when its running. Any idea how to do it safely,

Thanks

Your batteries will be wired in parallel, the Prado will be running a 12v system. Likely both batteries are always connected rather than having one vehicle battery and one "house" battery. Probably the best option would be to run an inverter and charger for your tool batteries, I've done that for both DeWalt and Milwaukee tools and it works great.

What 24 volt tools do you have?

Modern 18v & 12v cordless tools are incredibly powerful and efficient.

If you already have cordless tools, see if you can get a 12volt charger, or an inverter for existing chargers
