I purchased a 50QT ARB fridge last summer and the 12V plug has always seemed to tight and is very difficult to remove. The AC plug works fine as it should.
As I was trying to remove my 12V plug to remove the fridge from the 100 it seemed as if the whole connection was coming out of the back of the fridge. I ended up putting pliers to hold the connection from pulling out the back of the fridge to remove the 12V plug and after much wiggling back and forth the 12V plug was removed.
I checked the clearances on the plug and the fridge with calipers and there was plenty of clearance on the plastic plug on all sides. It seems as if it gets stuck on the actual metal connection.
Is this normal for this plug and or fridge?
