If you know somebody with liquid Nitrogen... You can have them just give the gears, shafts and joints a bath...


I'd call Bobby 1st and confirm that though. He should know.


EDIT: Double confirm that b/c it might make the metal more "stronger" but also more brittle.

Havent had a problem with the axles yet. Have broke the rear thrid and both u joints in the rear drive shaft. Put longs in the front hope they hold up.

2 questions:
1-what type of transmission is in that rig;
2-am I correct to assume that there is no snorkle for the air intake here? how do you keep all of that water and mud out of where it shouldn't be???(this would also confirm my previous suspicion that most rigs with snorkles are poser rigs...)

Truck has a turbo 350 and no snorkle. Rubber roofing under the truck. And I dont think it will be running in that much water again

The longs are still holding up. We blew the front ring and pinion the last race. Put another one in and heading out this morning. Its been a month sense we raced the truck. Boy are those LONGS are strong
