I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know if what you do between the two 43-56mph 3 minutes stints matters?
I ask because where i am and normally drive, i can do one lot, but not two easily
so if i do that on two trips i.e. two days in a row, with that complete the catalyst test?
even though after the first bit i will be stop start traffic a low speeds etc?

I expect the computer will update the data once you have done whatever driving it wanted, no matter how much other driving you did in between. MOST people will not have the FSM, or instructions of what driving their computer is expecting. Most people will just drive, and the computer will still (eventually) get the data it wanted.
