What trouble to you anticipate? Rust is rust. That vehicle, barring a bad accident, will still be reliable and on the road for many many years. Rust underneath isnt going to make any difference. You think so? I wouldnt want trouble down the road

I dont have experience with rust at all, thats why i dont know what to anticipate lol. If it was totaled and fixed up i know what to look for to make my decision and what to expect. What trouble to you anticipate? Rust is rust. Yeah that LX will definetly give you 10 years+ minimum, especially for you being in CO.Well to sum it up most wouldnt think much of the undercarriage rust although any work down there would be a pain in the #%*. And split minds on the door rust, some see it fine some think it will spread pretty badly. But what we all agree on is for the right price its worth it. I plan on having it for atleast 4/5 years. Thanks all

Although there's concern about rust on the AHC lines that run between the sides, as well as rust on those components. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but a pain to fix and relatively expensive. I would make sure you check all the hard lines
When you say expensive, how expensive are talking i onow its a very broad question but something to keep in mindAlthough there's concern about rust on the AHC lines that run between the sides, as well as rust on those components. dont think so its a small dealer, but i guess it doesnt hurt to askMight be an option to ask the selling dealer to replace anything that looks problematic.

several thousand - crap answer but it depends on which lines and what parts. It’s more a labor/time cost than anything as the lines are difficult to reach, and there are a number of parts to make it work.
to compare - I paid 27k for a 2010 with 110k miles and ZERO rust (southern car).
