How bad is the rust?

Hello, I am looking to buy my first 80 series and I liked this triple locked one, however I found a kind of big rust spot close to the factory roof rack, as well as some surface rust on the bottom, I took some video and pictures, I appreciate the help!

IMHO it would be better for you to take the vehicle to a body shop (different than who did the work) and ask them to check the quality of the job, look for previous repairs/body work, and any old or new rust that needs fixing, then ask them how much it would cost to fix everything.

Copy what I wrote above and print it out, that's at least a start for where to look for rust.

More photos of the vehicle would help ie: front, sides, rear. BTW it appears to be missing a headlamp "eyebrow" piece of chrome in the photo above.

If I can see rust on fasteners in the engine bay then that’s too much rust for me as I know what the rest of the vehicle is going to be like.

This is excellent advice for any prospective buyers. Original fasteners in the engine bay (especially in the front by the grill), are a great tell-tale sign of overall rust on the truck. If i see any rust at all on more than a couple of (original) fasteners in the engine bay, i don't even need to see the undercarriage, as i know that it will be too rusty.
Having said this, some people have a much higher tolerance for rust than me. Living in the "rust belt", i've paid my dues to rust gods when i was younger. Now my tolerance for rust on Cruisers is ZERO.

Hood and fenders look to have been painted. This along with mixing trim over headlight suggests it may have had a front impact/wreck at some point.
Painting over labels and grommets is lazy!

I also would hesitate at seeing a lot of rusty fasteners in the engine bay. This and powdery white corroding on aluminium engine parts suggests its seen salted roads or been on the beach a lot.
