Den Mom punished Bessie yesterday.

That's cause bessie's a bad girl. Never cleans her plate and stays up late on the internets. It's best to wear her out so she'll sleep well at night.

For the first time ever the purdy truck came back to the camp on the strap! Fuel pump went out at the top of can opener.

La Hacienda is best place for Mexican in Hot Springs. Jose's is the only other

Low grade gig food. The lot of it.

Gonna try one of the many new taco trucks next trip.

ARB worked great until the fuel pump went out! Great upgrade. As I was headed down to get in my truck on slammer I looked at everyone and said "the purdy truck has definitely graduated"

that truck sho is purdy.

Stock and I think original!

I thought I had caught up to y'all on Can Opener Saturday afternoon around 4... Looked like someone in an FJC was stuck... I was coming up to chat when I realized I put a hole in the sidewall of one my new tires. Had to turn around and take it to the air station... Was flat when I got there :frown:

Bodean,
The concert was awesome! John and the boys did a great job opening up for the Troubadours. If you get the chance, check the Turnpike Troubadours out live, they are great!

Had a great trip with the gang this weekend.

Friday met Tolleson crew at my exit and headed northwest through the Delta. We rolled out until we hit the YellowJacket where we met Bossman and crew for BIG burgers. I love that place.

We checked into the KOA, turned on the A/C and hit the road to Superlift. Most all had been out already so we jumped in with them and ran up Squid's Jaunt to Rubicon Ridge (reverse) Julie took over driving duties and we ran through that trail in the RZR in about 5 minutes. We hung out at the bottom of the big hill and went up with the crew.

All the rigs did great going up this big, steep, loose climb

One long ride was enough for my crew so we headed back to the KOA to swim and knock the dust off. Chris and I left everyone at the cabins and we ran up to grab some kick ass pizza.

After a GREAT night sleep in the cabin at KOA.....did I mention I like it at the KOA??.....we got out to Superlift about 9:30. We hit the trail at 10:00 or so and went directly to Slammer.

Kids had a blast on the rocks while we all made the trail look easy.

Stacy drove like a pro in her new-to-her 1968 Cruiser.

The top section is a bit more difficult. That is why I suggested Julie drive

She did great, peeling out when I told her to and letting out of it when she needed to.

One small mistake at the end landed her and Berkley on their side in a crack, but I was able to talk her into driving out out backwards back on all 4. She is a bad ass.

Bossman walked right up in 1/2 ass, then spotted the rest while I took pics. All was just fine until Bessie got a bit off line at the end and took a bit of a beating

Debbie got wedged pretty good here (first of a few beatings of the day) and Red had the Spa on her brain so we took off for town while Bossman honcho-ed a compound winch session to try to keep the damage to the truck to a minimum. Someone else will have to fill you in on that one.

We took off to town to drop Red at the spa and I had to go get a trailer tire. Wal Mart was the only thing open Sat afternoon.....

We got the tire and then hit Bathhouse Row and went to the National Park visitor center. What a cool piece of history that place is. I highly recommend taking a bit of time and going there next time you are in town.

We rolled back to the KOA to play mini-golf in the 100* heat and swim.

Will kicked all of our asses and we were headed to the pool when Greg called me to tell me Purdy lost a fuel pump and they needed another strap to safely get him to the bottom of the hill. Actually, they wanted a strap AND Bossman.

I jumped in the truck and headed down to Superlift since phones rarely work in the camp. Bossman jumped up to make the rescue and I loaded my junk up and headed back to the KOA. The crew staying at the park went to Smokin in Style on Friday night so I begged the Tollesons to head up there after they got in. Plans were to NOT have to leave either night, but I sold them and we all loaded up into the Guatemalan School bus and headed ALL THE WAY across town.

Thank GOD it was fast and GOOD.

Like at the Crawl...it was GREAT and we had food 5 minutes after we sat. I recommend it for groups as you don't have to fool with separate checks and annoying stuff like that. Order at the window and they bring you hot food.

From there, we headed back to the KOA. Julie went to bed and I smoked a stoggie with Tolleson and later, Bossman. I was in bed...in the a/c, showered at 11:00.

Nice trip. We stopped off at Paul Michaels on the way home and got my Fathers Day present...a leather chair.

Great time. Great folks.
