Relocating the spring about 3/4" will eliminate the wiper interference.

Jason by any chance do you have a part number for the Ball Stud Mounting Brackets that you use?

Trying to find one that works with our trucks and I see a lot of them on Master-car

With the shorter gas struts that I went to (thanks to the 4Runner arm conversion), it lifts the hood to about the perfect height and holds it beautifully.

I found a replacement for the ball end sockets, not the gas springs.

Also regarding the wipers, I found some discarded 'hook' type ends to update the wipers. Welded them on to existed arms and now I can buy the better wipers. I much needed upgrade.
