I know a group of you guys went out to Utah and traversed the Hole in the Rock Trail. My question is, will a stock 4runner "trail" edition be able to do it?

A stock 4Runner with a rear locker and good driving will make it...but your stock bumpers won’t.

That’ll be my sil’s call then, but I don’t think he’s ready to rip up his bumpers, just yet.

There are a few sections where he will have a very unpleasant experience.

I would also not recommend doing it with your trailer.

if you have a safe place to leave your trailer , and his truck. Do it, but not alone.

I’m thinking we’ll pass on it, the other vehicle in our party has a Chevy Colorado with 3” lift, which makes it equal to the stock 4rnner.
