Hi guys
My 1985 hj75 has the chassis number hj750000478 does this mean it was the 478 lwb ute or pick up to be released around the world.

Its usually on the tag like this one. Thats for a 61 series and tells you its a RH aussie turbo model with a tail gate ,but the 75 series tell you whether it was a cab chassis meaning cab only or a complete unit with a tub affixed. You need the decoder but the TLC FAQ seems to have been removed from its server.
But if you can get the bit where it says HJ75R***** someone may have the decoder
Those chassis' were also used on the troopy and I wouldnt be surprised if they just go them out of stock and used them on what ever it was needed for.

I'm thinking they would only go down to 100 units on the chassis numbers but it's only a guess has anyone one seen numbers any lower

We're HJ750001391 as a RHD troopy. I'm assuming means it is the 1391st 75 series frame with a 2H engine to roll off the line regardless of bed/cab/box option? The model number defines the style option, like HJ75RV-xxxx.
