Well after 14 months my HJ 60 has rolled out of the shop in Norway, I then drove her to Stockholm in Sweden, a trip of around 500 kilometres, the 2H ticked along like a sewing machine, I was cruising at 110 kmh in 5th gear no problem, temp gauge was dead centre only rising slightly on the hills.
She’s going in for her vehicle inspection in Sweden next week, once that’s done I’ll fly in to Sweden and collect the car and the missus and drive her south to Holland where I’m currently working in construction.
Plan is to get her booked in at Wink 4x4 for there turbo conversion, once I have a hairdryer bolted to her she should be transformed, the engine is very healthy as it’s still only got 220,000 kilometres on her, 137,000 miles in old money….

Looks great! I'm planning to drive Betty Blue (my FJ60) up from Munich through Stockholm, then to Luleå to visit a friend and then to Abisko National Park. Going to need to toughen up my butt. lol.
The drive up to Lulea from Stockholm is stunning, I’ve done it a couple of times when I was working up there, not in a Landcruiser though…..
I’m planning on driving it to Ibiza next May because, why not 😆

Yes, we're looking forward to it (well, wifey is asking for some 'logistical' upgrades/changes for a bit more comfort in the rig) and I'm also planning a trip down to Cairo next year ... seems I'm a glutton for punishment. lol

I’m also looking to upgrade the front seats, I’m gonna find something at a scrapyard not necessarily from a Toyota, I’ll know the right ones when I see them….Turbo first though, although she wasn’t that slow on my long journey, she certainly doesn’t explode out of roundabouts, more like trickles out 😆

If you can believe it, I've gotten 2 speeding tickets here in Germany on the Autobahn in an FJ60 ... that has to be some sort of world record for a 'race tractor'.
